Hello beloved friends—what a month this has been. At any given second of the day, I’m either completely drained and dismayed or feeling deeply empowered. While I’m in a good headspace I thought it might be a good time to make my First Thursday post for June (yes I know it’s Saturday). This month’s First Thursday artist is a good friend of mine. I’d even go so far as to call her my sister. This multi-instrumentalist writes perfect lo-fi-ish rock tunes that are a little bit sad, a little tender, and always honest. Her voice is super sweet, and her bite-size songs, which largely examine friendship and love, feel effortlessly written and performed.
