Longtime no speak! I was busy doing a thing (see my post about it here). Now that all that’s out of the way, I wanted to share my ::slightly delayed:: First-Thursday pick for the month of July. I encountered this month’s artist on an instagram post from a friend who went to see them perform a solo set. I was so struck by their beautiful voice, raw lyrics, and sad guitar strums that I had to know who they were. After getting all the deets I spent the next day listening to some more of their beautiful, heart-wrenching songs. If you need a good, soothing cry…take a listen.
