this month’s artist is a good friend of mine, a wonderful human, and a brilliant artist. Her latest song is the jam — it feels kind of minimal, but it still moves so much through the percussion and I love her vocals, breathy but not thin. You may have seen her rocking alongside your faves Xenia Rubinos + Mirah OR in her other project Kid in the Attic, but she has recently put together another gorgeous song under her name Maia Macdonald.
