Happy new year! I’m still in hiding and working on some very incredible things this year but even a ghost like me comes out to celebrate First Thursdays, the day each month that I share an artist I really love and I think that you should too. This month’s artist is a force of lyrical talent and high energy — he’s an incredible MC, producer, and jazz instrumentalist with whom I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage a few times. Like me he straddles the world of nerd-rap and the broader indie music universe and he does so effortlessly! Also one of the most dynamic performers around with a new project coming on 1/25.
