Grad school is stressful, and I’m so EXHAUSTED but enough about me — it’s the FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH! I met this month’s artist YEARS ago when I was still living in Houston and just learning how to rap. By chance we ended up performing together this past weekend in Syracuse — he’s currently on tour with Jonwayne, and I was asked to provide some local-ish support for the show. He absolutely killed his set — his delivery was engaging and his words were thoughtful, in perfect combination with his Jonwayne produced beats. This month’s artist is none other than Danny Watts, whose brand new project Black Boy Meets World is out now! He’s still on tour so check him out in a city near you if you have the chance.
