I also want to call attention to the ways in which state sanctioned violence and mass incarceration are issues that deeply affect Black women — we can’t ever forget this: ‪#‎SayHerName‬ And finally, I want to make sure to call attention to some of the alarming murder stats regarding trans women because they are often overlooked even by those who call themselves feminists and womanists.
