It’s day three of the #Metroidcelebration and  things have only gotten bigger and better! If you haven’t been keeping up, my homie Platinumfungi recruited me and a number of other Metroid lovers to get the hashtag #Metroidcelebration trending. Not only did we get the hashtag trending on Twitter, but we also received tweet support from Hirokazu “Hip” Tanaka, the composer for the original Metroid game! In addition to sharing my favorite Metroid memories and stories, I also wrote an article about Samus entitled: “On Samus, Writing Reflexively, and Finding My Voice,” which was published on one of my fave sites Black Girl Nerds.
