GREAT NEWS! I just received the official word that I’ll be joining my friends in geek girl treachery The Doubleclicks, and beat mash-up superstar 2 Mello to PERFORM AT GaymerX 3 all the way out in lovely San Francisco (major shoutout to the Doubleclicks for getting me connected)! For those not in the know, GaymerX 3 is a $97K+ Kickstarter-funded convention focused on creating a space for gamers and gaymers of all identities to have fun and hang out with like minded folks. As such many of the panels revolve around queer issues or queer devs, and the stress is ALWAYS on building a safe space. Since the convention’s not for a little while, it’ll give me some time to build up my music catalog and hopefully by this time next year I’ll have another album and a fresh new Metroid project under my belt.
