It seems like contemporary artists really have their work cut out for them. Not only is everybody and their mother a [rapper, singer, songwriter, producer] but the second you put out a beat, single, mixtape, or even an album of original work, you’re expected to have the next project lined up. I remember when it might take an artist a year or two between releases and that was alright by me. I say all this to say that I am honored and amazed that M’other Brain is still being discovered and receiving positive reviews despite the fact that I dropped it in June of 2012.
