Before you go further, just be warned, some parts of the video are NSFW.
Imagine navigating hopelessly through a storm during the coldest winter. Imagine suffocating slowly at the hands of someone whom you used to love. Imagine that every time you try to take a step forward, you’re pushed two steps back — I made the video above at the beginning of 2012 when a very close friend of mine was suffering severely from depression. I wanted to convey that I understood what that individual was going through and this was the best way that I could do so. I also wanted to illustrate that in the end, there is always a way out. Initially the video was kept private between myself and a few friends (which is why the original upload date is January 25th), but she assured me that I should release this video into the world now that she’s in a better place. I have since used the instrumental for my upcoming LP, M’other Brain, on which myself and the incredible Chance Fischer tell a tale about one of the most tortured souls and creative individuals of our time, Kanye West. Oh yeah, and my friend is M’other Brain.
